Guess what is coming to Festac town Lagos Nigeria! It’s the Roppongi Lounge chess tournament!
Roppongi Lounge presents a One Day Chess Tournament, with over 100 thousand naira to be won for both male and female contestants. The tournament will consist of six (6) rounds and a time control of 15 minutes with an additional 10 seconds per move.
Prizes to be won are as follows:
Male Category:
1st prize: ₦ 80,000
2nd prize: ₦ 20,000
3rd prize: ₦ 15,000
4th prize: ₦ 10,000
5th prize: ₦ 7,500
Female Category:
1st prize: ₦ 10,000
2nd prize: ₦ 7,500
The tournament will hold on the 22nd June 2019 by 9:00 am, at the Roppongi Lounge, 12 Road, opposite Liberty Hotel, Festac Town Lagos state.
For interested contestants, registration starts now and ends on the 22nd of June 2019 by 8:00 am. Registration fee is 2000 naira only!
