The Opening Ceremony of the 2021 African Individual Chess Championships took place on Monday 17th May, 2021 at Golden Peacock Hotel, Lilongwe, Malawi.
Dignitaries there present are: Malawi’s Minister of Youth and Sports—Ulemu Msungama, Malawi’s Minister of Lands, Housing and urban Development—Kezzie Msukwa, President, African Chess Confederation—Lewis Ncube, President, Chess Association of Malawi—Susan Namangale and many more.
