CM Dr Lyndon B reflects on his recent journey to Poland, he reminds us of the rich history and culture that the beautiful country has to offer. From the stunning architecture to the vibrant people, Poland is a treasure trove of experiences waiting to be uncovered. He pointed out that his journey was not just about sightseeing but was also about reconnecting with his passion for chess.

He had the privilege of meeting Stewart Reuben, a renowned chess player and author, who shared his insights on the game. He talked about how their conversation took him back to his childhood, when he first discovered the joy of chess, how he was fascinated by the strategies and tactics involved, and how he spent hours poring over chess books and practicing with his friends.

Moreover, Dr Lyndon shared his experience about looking deep into the world of Polish chess , how he discovered a plethora of talented players who have made significant contributions to the game. From Akiba Rubinstein to Jan-Krzysztof Duda, Poland has produced some of the greatest chess minds in history.

In his words, he expressed “But my journey was not without its challenges. I faced stiff competition in the tournament, including a thrilling match against a Woman Grandmaster. Despite the obstacles, I was determined to push myself to new heights and make the most of this opportunity.

As I conclude this chapter of my journey, I am left with a sense of awe and wonder. Poland, you have stolen my heart with your beauty, history, and passion for chess. I eagerly look forward to the next installment of this adventure, where I will continue to explore the complexity of the game and the rich culture of this incredible country.”
